Millfield Win Again!!!!

The Millfield Team of Sandra Meacher (Capt) Jane Rees, Julia Gregory and Sam Williams successfully defended the Millfield title

as the scratch winners Silver Tassie by 9 shots today with a combined total score of 153 with Oakham School scoring 162.

The Silver Tassie is the women’s national golf competition for women for the alumnae of independent schools.  The Team consists of two pairs.

As well as this Millfield came second in TheSilver Tassie nett competition.  This is, I think, the best result we

have achieved in the Nett.  There were three Schools on the same score of 78 points.  We were pipped

at the post on the count back in the last 6 holes by Wycombe Abbey scoring 28 points on the last 6 and 28 whilst we scored Silver Tassie 2023 24!!
